Buying new graphics card

Hi, i have a pc with AMD A8-6600k CPU and integrated radeon hd 8570d. Im wanting to get the r7 260x and i dont know if itll cause any problems and if possible what are the benchmarks id be getting for those who have the same specs.

Current PC Specs
CPU: A8 6600K
GPU: Radeon Hd 8570D
PSU: 500W something something
RAM : 8GB

I think if you haven't had any issues with the PSU to this point, adding the GPU won't make much difference. But, find out what the PSU model is and let us know if you want more advice. If it is a built in unit that came with the computer case - it can be hit or miss.

I cant really tell, because there wasnt an exact make written when i was buying the pre-built desktop.

There are usually 4 screws on the back of the PSU holding it in place in the computer case. Disconnect the power cable from the PSU, then unscrew the 4 screws. You should be able to slide the PSU out and read the make and model.

Again, this is only if you want to find out. You don't need to worry about the PSU in my opinion - I think you're gonna be fine with what you have.
