Hi guys
I am planning on upgrading my PC and i am starting with the memory. Upon viewing compatibility between my current MoBo and new RAM I found they may not be compatible. The motherboard I have says it supports DDR4 2133 when the new RAM is DDR4 3200. Could you guys please check if they are compatible. I will put a link and name for each part below:

Current MotherBoard - ASRock Fatal1ty E3V5 Performance Motherboard - https://www.pccasegear.com/products/35056

New RAM - Corsair - Vengeance RGB Pro 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GTG2T7L/?tag=pcpapi-20

Thanks guys, appreciate the help

Well, the RAM does work at 2133 Mhz in your MoBo but it will not work at it's rated speeds of 3200 Mhz,
RAM specs: https://www.corsair.com/fr/en/Categ...RGB-Black/p/CMW32GX4M2C3200C16#tab-tech-specs

Btw, all DDR4 modules, regardless their max rated speed, will work at 2133 Mhz.

According your MoBo manual,
link: http://asrock.pc.cdn.bitgravity.com/Manual/Fatal1ty E3V5 Performance GamingOC.pdf

It supports DDR4 speeds of 2133 Mhz / 2400 Mhz (OC) / 2800 Mhz (OC) and that's it. So, your best bet would be buying 2133/2400/2800 Mhz RAM, else-ways, you'd waste a lot of money on fast RAM that you can't use at it's rated speeds.

E.g this G.Skill set running at 2800 Mhz,

Or if you want RGB then either of these two running at 2400 Mhz,

Alright thanks for the reply dude. Also don't worry I am not wasting money on overkill RAM as I am buying a new powerful motherboard next month that supports the speed of the corsair one.
