Buying new memory... is this worth the value?

I have to buy my memory localy and since im upgrading to AM2, I need to buy new DDR2 memory.

Im first building a budget machine as im not ready to invest in a new main machine (939agp). So I figure I mise well buy good memory for my budget and swtich over later on.

Here is the Memory in question:
Corsair TwinX Kit DDR2 800 (2x512) $185.
This will be fine for my needs now as this will be a secondary machine. But should I just buy super cheap ram and wait till DDR2 1066 becomes mainstream?

If so, I have to buy this ram unless I can find it cheaper elsewhere
Samsung DDR2 512MB-533 $67.

The mobo I chose is this one, which works good I hear GA-m51GM-s2g Mobo 108.

Thanks for any suggestions.

When it comes to buying memory it comes more to OCing than performance, due that this is so little that isnt worth getting expesive RAM for it at stock speeds.
How much of an OCer are you?

Too late. I picked up Samsung ddr2 533 memory. 512mb 1 stick. I will just start building my collection of used ddr2 memory now.... I have NEVER OC'ed (on purpose). The only game I play is based off the quake 3 engine... and at 450fps, I dont need any more lol
