im ordering if this is good to go. as u can see, i take full advantage of the combo deals. i would like to display all my stuff so a window side panel is a must(adding leds later) and also best air flow. im not concern about the sound and the arc midi r2 looks really nice, and i just like fractal design for some reason. im going to SLI the 760 in the future, and im not familiar with PSUs, so i just pick the most reputable brand corsair. if there's a cheaper or better 80 plus gold psu with good quality, pls recommend it to me, thanks alot. and with the remaining money, is it wise to go for a fx 8320 instead of the fx 6300? This is a pure gaming system, but i heard of games slowly taking advantage of the 8 cores. and im overclocking.

was the forum down just now? was spamming to enter. :??: anyway, in your opinion, do u think asus amd mobos are better quality than asrock? also i prefer a case with side window. 😀 and i didnt know i can fit a 770 in there. with that said, can u make any build where it has fx6300, gtx 770, a window side panel case(im into the looks, leds and stuff), and probably a 500w~600w psu? i dont think i wanna sli in the future if i can get a 770 now. and probably get a 970 mobo instead since it's cheaper. and im still gonna overclock. hopefully it can be around the 1k budget. and thanks for the quick reply!

ive been researching alot on 7950 vs 760 & 7970 ghz vs 770 for the past few days and i think most people prefer the nvidia cards. and most games favor the 770, i think. correct me if im wrong. but im gonna play mainly bf3, so i dunno if choosing amd will be a higher advantage. if the 770 has a better price/performance than the 7970, i will just overclock in the future (1 or 2 months time) and drop the hyper 212 evo and use the stock for the time being. and meanwhile i can save up for a phanteks PH-TC14PE_OR (im going for a black/orange theme). 😀

Here , it has a FX 8320 ( which will help in better FPS in BF3 especially because it uses the CPU for a lot of tasks and every core and thread counts ) The GTX 770 does seem *good* for the 30bucks difference. Also I have added a great 1080p monitor. You could seriously use a Corsair H60 2013 edition , since those who used it have been much more than satisfied.

i don't know much about the h60 and never really considered water cooling. if i went down that road, i'll get a h100i just because it's the most recommended? idk man, but a water cooler that cheap, makes me feel insecure, it's just me. and i have no experience in water cooling. anyway, nice build, it just gets better. :pt1cable: i havent order anything yet, i may need a day to think everything through. is there a reason why xfx is having big discounts, i don't doubt the quality, but i want to really make sure i choose a good psu. it's great that now i can fit a fx8320, a little more "future proofing" there. as for the case, i've heard of it, but i don't see it being recommended that much? i read a few reviews, and it has quite an average rating. idk, i know i can't do much about it with a 1k budget but i tend to go along with the more well known brands, CM, fractal, nzxt, corsair etc etc.. and lastly, i love the monitor, but i wanna go with a IPS monitor instead, i'll be watching movies and stuff quite frequently, and im willing to sacrifice that slightly better responsive time and smoothness. so maybe a dell 2312hm is the way to go. alright, thanks alot for your help. 😀

i thought the promotion ended?! :pt1cable: although i can select it in pcpartpicker, but newegg doesn't show any signs of the promotion still ongoing. if it's still available, i'll definitely get the i5-4670k+extreme6 deal. then get a gtx 760 instead, and SLI next time. should fit in my budget, if not, slightly more. 😀 i've seen how little extra money can improve the build alot. so i don't mind increasing my budget till $1200, but i have to wait next week to order rest of the parts. and meanwhile, i'll get the cpu+mobo deal now before it ends(i wonder when). this is my first time ordering from newegg so i don't have any experience. if the promotion ends, i'll just stick with an fx6300 or fx8320. im more concern about getting the most out of my money. and im satisfied in the 35~45 fps range for bf3, and if future games gets "better", i'll just SLI. i hope someone can inform me if the promotion is still available. thanks alot! 😀

alright, i also prefer gigabyte than asrock. 😀 i'll order the i5-4670k + gigabyte ud4h combo now! and order the rest next week. i most likely will go for a gtx 770, and pickup a good cpu cooler and overclock in the future since i only want to play bf3 now. thanks alot man! 😀

i read some sources saying a minimum of 850w for SLI 770? some says the system will not use so much, and will use maximum 650w~700w? so i guess a good quality 750w 80+ gold is good enough for a i5-4670k + gtx 770 SLI? i really dont understand anything about power supplies, so just a really good yes or no will really help me, thanks. 😀

any monitor experts or anyone reading, which monitor has a better picture quality, dell 2312hm or the asus vs239h-p? or any better quality 23 or 24 inch IPS monitor around that price range, thanks!

and it's my first time building, im only concern about the electric static thingy, how do i properly ground/discharge myself with the anti-static wrist thing? gonna get one off amazon.

Marcopolo123 is right , the easiest way to discharge yourself is to touch any metal like a windowpane ,etc ( except the case ) Also the ASUS V824H is a beast of a monitor , it as clear pictures , low response time ( 2ms ) and the ASUS quality. Also no matter what you are getting , grab a XFX 750W PSU ASAP , even if you dont want to SLI now. That deal is a awesome. A 760 is just enough for BF3 , but for future proofing , I would add a GTX 770 rather. SLI has heat , noise , micro stutter , and much more issues. You will be lucky ( like finding a treasure on a beach ) if you don't face anyone of these and other issues. BF4 is expected to be much more power demanding , so get a GTX 770 + FX 8320/50 , since if BF4 does put the load on CPU , the way BF3 did , The FX6300 will surely be in trouble. The FX8320/50 won't. SO yeah get a -
