Ok, I have an emachines http://www.meetgadget.com/gadget/53157/eMachines+EL1352G-41w
and I got a new 600 watt PSU and I found AMD Opteron Quad core 2380 processor at a good price which I may get. I'm also going to buy a Nvidia Geforce gt 730 ddr5 graphics card. Would this upgrade first of all work out well for the computer (compatible and all) and secondly would I be able to play my League Of Legends game without lag? Thanks for all help and I'm a bit noob on some things, so yeah lol

Solution
The Opteron series of CPUs are not for standard desktop PCs. They're for servers. Servers are the computers that your machine connects to in order to get online. (that was about as simple as I can make it)

What does "Opteron's are for servers" mean? Sorry, I don't know too much about this stuff lol I've had this computer since like 2010. I would maybe consider a 750ti
