Hello, I am very uneasy about buying off Amazon.com as buying from Australian sites such as Mwave.com or Umart.com are much more expensive. Buying off amazon is much more cheaper for me, I can build a better computer for less money, but what I am most unsure about is the warranty. This will be my first time building a gaming PC. Do you need a warranty? Am I covered. My monitor will cost AU$300. My budget is to stay under AUD$2000
Mwave Build: https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/Cr7bKB = AU$1341 + AU$340(peripherals) + AU$300(monitor) = AU$1981
Amazon Build: https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/qqngbX = AU$1301 + AU$340 + AU$300 = $1941
So what do you guys think? For the Mwave build, I more for less. The Amazon computer has a better MB, RAM and GPU. I don't know if the SSR-550FX 80+ gold is better than the Corsair RMx 550w 80+.
I am going to be building this computer myself for the first time and don't know if I should buy off Amazon.com, am I covered if I accidentally damge the parts through ESD? I could maybe even get the AU$675 1070 ti if I cut down on all the other parts again, although I think I will be paying slightly more for that.
Thanks. Josh.
