Buying PC parts from different retailers

Using PC Part Picker is gives you the lowest price for the part you have chosen, but using those lowest prices they are all from different stores (Newegg, SuperBiiz, B&H, OutletPC, Amazon, etc.) I was wondering if it is an ok thing to buy from a jumble of suppliers because of shipping, say if one part isn't delivered while all the other parts have been, resulting in you not being able to build your PC, or something like that.

also look at micro center there not on parts picker now for some reason but they have great cpu and mb combo deals.
