Question buying ram for i7-8700k

I am building my first pc. i have found a 32GB 2666 CL16 memory for a very low price. do you think i7-8700k will benefit from higher frequency.

High frequency ram is more benefic for Ryzen. For Intel it's not going to give any noticeable boost in gaming, only in some specific apps.
That being said, DDR4 2666mhz is not considered "very fast" (that would be above 3000mhz).
32gb is overkill for gaming; unless you do intense video editing, 16gb should be enough.
