Question Buying RAM that is not officially supported by my motherboard ?

Always best if you can find memory on the list but in a way those lists are paid advertisement. The company that makes the memory modules provides them to the motherboard companies. Some companies only provide their most expensive module, the ones with all the fancy led but don't provide the basic models that are exactly the same electronically.

Now days ddr5 6000 memory has become so common that almost all brand will function in all motherboards. It is not so much the motherboard it seem it is more the cpu chips themselves. Seem AMD has gotten the memory support figured out a bit more.

Even when they first came out 6000 worked most the time it was if you tried to go above it that you saw issues.
