buying refurbished items from newegg?

A friend of mine asked me if buying a refurbished video card from newegg was a good idea, i wanted to ask you guys before i answer him.

-Intel PIV 2.6C @ 3.575G -Asus P4P800 -OCZ Copper 2x256 4000EL memory @ 275mhz 3-4-4-8 -Sapphire 9800np @ 432/760 -SB audigy -120G Maxtor Diamond Plus9 S-ATA150 hdd -450 Enermax PSU
 
Well, they do. Anybody ever bought any used video card from them?

I would. They're still under warranty. What often happens is someone will by something like say, a 9600 Pro, only to find it doesn't fit in his AGP2x slot. Or someone will buy another AGP card, only to find out their Dell doesn't have an AGP slot. Some cards are returned by unscrupolus overclockers because they wouldn't clock high enough, etc. You still get a warranty, so why not?
