I purchased a GTX 660 TI from ebay, what kind of checks can I make to make sure the card is in good condition and performance as advertised, keep in mind I'm amateur building my first desktop soon.

Just to make sure, will the gtx 660 TI this model (http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4320#sp) work with this mobo: Asus Z87-A ATX LGA1150 (http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-motherboard-z87a).
Will this mobo also accommodate Nvidia card when I upgrade to high end one in 2015.

Thanks !

Run your favorite games where you are familiar with how they run. The GTX 660 Ti is a very good graphics card - this is what we have in our recent build.

You will also find some test programs at NVidia's website.

When you say artifacts (snow) you mean ingame weather details, or am I missing something?

PS offtopic: was just wondering if the my RAM will fit with CPU cooler Noctua NH-D14 on the mobo I mentioned earlier (Asus Z87-A) inside Fractal Design Define R4 (Black Pearl) ATX Mid Tower Case.

Thanks for all the tips, tomshardware forums has been fantastic so far.

Oh I see, I understand now, thanks. I can try out a few games unfortunately due to restrictions most of the ones I am familiar with are not GPU demanding: Moba, HS.
