Hello guys, computer engineering student here. Next semester I'll be taking programming and other classes. My parents told me to pick a laptop and that I have a starting budget of PhP 30,000 (≈$670). With the money I've got saved, that amount should go up to PhP 50,000 (≈$1,100). What laptop do you guys suggest I get?
Approximate Purchase Date: Six Months or less
Budget Range: $600-$1,100
System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, Video Editing, Rendering, Programming
Location: Philippines
Parts Preferences: i7 at or near 3ghz, nvidia 860M preferable but not necessary
Your Monitor Resolution: 14"-17" 1080p preferable but I can work with 768p
Additional Comments: I use Blender, Source Film Maker, VirtualDub and I play some BF3 and I plan to play Sims4, I'm fine with high-medium settings
Reason for Upgrading: I have a crap Lenovo G450 that's been sitting somewhere because of a broken motherboard.
