I live in Germany. I want to build a PC and while choosing the parts I have noticed something. Everything is like 50 bucks cheaper on amazon us than on amazon de. So, my question is, can I buy things from amazon us and get them shipped to me in Germany? I know amazon has that AmazonGlobal Export thing but does that mean I have to pay more money or is it completely free to ship items from US to Germany?
Thanks for your help

You have to be careful. I think amazon usually give you the total for taxes just before you buy. Here in the UK anything that price gets a nice 20% VAT banged on top... makes it not worth it.. :(

I live in Iceland and also use Amazon US to shop computer components.
They are cheaper than here in europe, but costs added on are:
1. shipping costs
2. taxes

So you have to find the item a good deal cheaper in order to really save money.

Plus, if you get an item that doesn't work, you will have to pay for it to be shipped back and so forth (since the insurance is valid in the US).

So, would it be cheaper to buy from Amazon US? How much do the shipping costs and taxes cost? If I want to buy a 250 dollars GPU, how much would it cost?
