Basically, I'd like help finding any possible sales or better deals on certain components/upgrades. I am not interested in changing the case or the NZXT Hue. Everything else, feel free to help with.

I know I could probably find a bigger HDD for that price, and possibly a cheaper, more reliable PSU. Just need you guys to work with me to save some money without downgrading too much.

Drop the LED light controller for now and invest more in your GPU. You could get a 7870 GHz edition which would be a better choice than a reference 660 would.

I don't want to drop the Hue, its something I thought was really cool, and I think it would look great in my room. I also play on a 720p 32" TV, so I really don't think I need to upgrade my GPU right now.

As for the mobo, I've been suggested the H77M for weeks now while initially trying to come up with this build. What would be the purpose of paying more for that Mobo when the one that is currently picked out has been highly suggested?

The motherboard that was suggested is an mATX form factor. The motherboard I'm suggesting is the same thing but in a full ATX form factor. mATX limits your long term expansion options. The full ATX board doesn't, and if you plan on keeping your system for a while then you want to keep all your expansion possibilities open.

You know - if you want to add say extra hard drives, more RAM, maybe a faster CPU, a second video card, things of that nature.

If I ever do need more RAM, I'd just buy 2x8GB. I don't plan on using SLI, I managed to keep a 500GB for 7 years without going lower than 100GB remaining.

So, I really don't think I need any of that. I appreciate you trying to help though.
