I'm planning to build a budget Ryzen 2200g PC with the cheapest RAM I could find being the Geil Evo Potenza 4gb ram, problem is, I can't find any dual kit version of this RAM and I'm wondering if its fine to buy two of it seperately, The Motherboard i'm planning to buy is an Asrock A320M HDV. I'm hoping someone can help me decide if this is ok to do, the Geil Evo Potenza 4gb 2400mhz RAM prices at $37 in my country(Philippines). while something like the G.Skill Ripjaws V is at $48 and the Corsair Vengeance LPX 4gb 2400mhz is at $57.

Solution
First of all, ryzen is picky about ram. Not all DDR4 ram will be supported by your motherboard.
Look at the motherboard ram QVL list for supported kits.
Or, look at a ram web site at their ram selection app.
Enter your motherboard and you will get a list of supported kits.
Also, ryzen integrated graphics performs better with fast ram.

Regardless, do not buy disparate sticks of ram.

Ram is sold in kits for a reason.
A motherboard must manage all the ram using the same specs of voltage, cas and speed.
The internal workings are designed for the capacity of the kit.
Ram from the same vendor and part number can be made up of differing manufacturing components over time.
Some motherboards, can be very sensitive to this.

What is your plan "B" if you buy such ram and you have problems??
