Question Buying used 1080 ti?

Hi, I have two deals for Gtx 1080 ti's that I can go for right now. A Evga 1080 ti SC2 for $510 or a Zotac 1080 ti AMP [Not extreme] Edition for $500. My question is which one should I go for or is buying this a bad idea in general.

Bad idea trying to buy used cards you never know what your going to get sold i say save abit more for a brand new one that way it has warranty or go with the new rtx 8gb gpu.

The Evga has almost a year and a half warranty, so still a bad idea?

buying used gpu/cpu or any pc parts in general has risks like, it dying way too early than expected since you wont have any idea how that person used it or how well they maintained it.

that being said it also has its advantages like getting a great deal out of really high end parts. its really up to you if you want to risk it but personally id just save up and buy a brand new gpu.

Honestly, I don't think the advantages of a 1080 Ti vs. a 2070 are enough to compensate for the fact that at the same price, you can the latter new instead of used.
