buzzing noise from computer speakers

real loud electrical buss sound when you first turn on the speaker and then it slowly settles down to a hum or buzz. When I mute the speaker it's still there, when I unplug the woofer it stops. If I un plug just the plug behind the computer it still buzz.

Hello... are you using the proper sheilded cable type to your Sub? Your cable to your sub is faulty?

Sounds like a connection and/or grounding problem. Try to isolate the source of the issue.

Try connecting your speakers to another source such as a boombox. Do you still hear the buzzing? If yes,it's not your computer sound card.

Try connecting another spearer set or headphones tothe line out of your sound card or motherboard's "line out". Do you hear the buzz? If yes, then your sound card or main board has the problem.
