Ever since I installed Win 10 every now and then I hear a buzzing sound whenever I'm playing a game or watching a video, whatever produces sound and it lasts for about a second or so and sometimes it even freezes for that amout of time. What could it be?

Solution
Your buzzing is probably a result of having a low quality power supply. 32bit versus 64bit would only come into play if some of your hardware only had 32bit drivers available that didn't want to play nice on the 64bit system, which is unlikely, but possible I suppose. More than likely the fact that you reinstalled is what cured the problem, rather than the fact that you changed bit depth. I'd get a decent power supply though if you value your system. This would be a good choice:

Ok, I seem to have found a solution. I have installed Win10 32bit instead of 64bit for the first time and the buzzing sound is gone so far. Not only that but Win10 32bit is a lot faster than the 64bit version for me at least. Maybe the slowness/lag had something to do with it?

Considering the age of your graphics card, if you're using HDMI sound, it could also be related to the card itself or GPU card drivers which may have been changed when you reinstalled.
