Question Buzzing Sound

PC makes a slight buzzing sound. If I lift the case up it goes quieter. I thought it was the HDD so I put a rubber band around the HDD tray to absorb the vibrations and now it's much quieter.

Earlier my PC went unusually quiet, I then opened up an app and heard the buzzing sound which starts when I first turn my PC on.
Would this indicate the PSU ?
It was the sound I heard when everything boots up after I turn my PC on.
PSU is a RM750x

Also let us know exactly what you are running to generate the 'noise'.

Suppose I could disconnect the HDD and see if it continues. This won't cause any data loss or corruption will it ?

As long as the OS doesn't need to access that drive to function, yeah.
Turn off - unplug drive - turn on - listen.

It is 100% the HDD. I disconnected it and the buzzing completely stopped
