Greetings,
As I said in the title I'm looking for a way to bypass my universities throttling on the dorm WiFi. The WiFi at my university dorm is quite good (60-80 mb/s up, 5-10 down), however, if I am to put any stress on it higher than 5-10 mb/s in either direction for an extended period of time the bandwidth is quickly throttled to a crawl (less than 1 mb/s). This is a big annoyance for any type of extended use, and has stopped me from being able to do some things whatsoever (downloading steam games in a reasonable time, live streaming, etc.). For reference, each apartment-size dorm room also has it's own individualized router, I live in Ireland, and my ISP is NTL Ireland (Liberty Global B.V ). I understand this might not even be possible, but if there is a way, I'd love to know how.
Thanks!
