I have a laptop running W2k pro. An ex-employee will not give me his the
password and the admin password isn't working. I have read on here about
utilities that will reset the registry files or something, but the problem is
that the ex-employee has/will not return the base of the laptop which
contains the cd and floppy drives.
Is there any way to bypass the logon screen? If not, is it possible to boot
from either an external cd drive connected to the usb or from a usb memory
stick?
Thx
Wayne
