bypassing forgotten username & password for windows 7

how do i bypass forgotten username & password to access my kids computer running windows 7 professional. have tried re-booting in safe mode and trying administrator and nothing as advised by advice found using google. its the first time inmonthd that the pc was shut down instead of sleeping and i forgot it even had a password. please help?
