Hello. A couple of years ago a family members wife died, and he has asked me if I can unlock her PC. Now I said sure, I have done that before. The problem is that it is a windows 8 pc, with a microsoft account, which means I cannot overwrite the password by changing ease of access to cmd, and then changing the password. I also cannot reset the password for the email, because it requires a sms, and he no longer has the phone. So I have tried other solution. I found 2 programs, one called PC unlocker and on called iSunshare Windows Password Genius Advanced. These both work by burning them to a disc or a USB. But when I try to boot from any of them, it tells me it has nothing to boot on. I had no problems booting from the Windows disc, once I had removed Secure Boot.
Specs: Lenovo G710, Windows 8 64-bit.
Any help will be appreciated.
