Hello,

I recently experiencing intermittent issues where I open a file or photo in a folder on desktop then nothing happens, file explorer freezes then I forcefully close file explorer restart my PC then I don't experience these issues until it happens intermittently again. The other issue I have is when I open a folder on my desktop that contains a couple of dozen of files I always see the address bar in file explorer getting green loading up and when I try to open a file before the green address bar loading finishes then file explorer hangs/freezes then I close file explorer from taskbar. Its like for example I am reading off a faulty slow USB stick but I am not using any usb stick, its my own main SSD drive in the computer.

Specs are:

- Kioxia Exceria 1TB M2 NVME SSD that is 1/4 Full and only a few months old with light read/write usage not heavy.

- Windows 11 Pro

What's causing the issues and how do I fix this? Could be a Windows File Explorer issue or Windows Desktop issue.

Cheers,

Use Kioxia SSD Utility Management Software

Okay thanks for the link, I downloaded it, ran it and it reports no problems with my SSD. Its reporting back 100% green health. Temps are normal. No issues whatsoever.

Is it possible for this manufacturer to program algorithms in their app to overlook or bypass probs with their ssd's for obvious self interest financial reasons? If so is there like a Independent app/software to use?

Otherwise we can rule out that this must be a issue with Windows and if so how do I fix these window issues?
