After a storm knocked out my power while I was at work , along with shutting down my laptop as I'm guessing it was plugged in, my hard drive has said the c:/ is not accessible, file or directory is corrupt or unreadable
So I'm wondering where I go from here. Can it be fixed or is the drive now dead? I can still boot up my laptop normally, as well as open things in folders or run programs. However I can't clivk or explore the drive without getting the alert, I can't save or delete any files, nor can I move them.
I ran an sfc/ scannow but it failed at 13%
I have a Toshiba satellite a505 laptop with windows 7
