I don't know a lot about computer stuff, so I am sorry XD I ran out of space in my C: and wanted to know if it was safe or okay to save all my games in my D:?
---------------------------
(C: )= 4.33 GB free of 118 GB

(D: )= 772 GB free of 931 GB
--------------------------
Examples of games I do install are like Overwatch/League/Dark Souls

Thank you all for the help! ^-^

Solution
Do it!

There is zero problem. If they are two separate drives, or just two partitions of the same drive - it will work 100% without a problem. Shoot you can install games on externals or network drives if you want!

Just go into D and make a New Folder, name it Program Files, and then when you install a game just switch the install location. Easy as that!
You only *need* your main programs on your 'C' drive.

If you're talking 'save game' files, you can simply move those over & map the location to steam etc (so it knows where to look for the files to load).

If you're talking about moving the game install over, you'll need to re-install the game itself to the drive you wanted to have it on.

Given the size of your drives it is safe to assume that the C drive is a 120GB SSD and the D drive is a 1TB platter. The advice to bring the total used space of your C drive down is a good suggestion. SSDs don't like to be at 100% capacity at all.

If i had a 120GB SSD i probably wouldn't install more than 1 or two of my favorite games on it.

For Steam games, you can install them on any drive or folder. And it does NOT have to be named "Program Files"
Thusly:
Steam games location
In the steam client:
Steam
Settings
Downloads
Steam Library Folders
Add library folder
