Hi, I built my new pc a few days ago, and I had my screen freezing if I had the c1e state enabled in the BIOS. Since I disabled this feature I never encountered reboots or freezes.

That's my motherboard: Gigabyte ga-970a-ud3p rev 2.0
My CPU: AMD FX-6300

I have read that other people have this issue with this cpu and motherboard.
How many watts does c1e state save? Should I buy another motherboard?

Personally I would try to get a replacement board first and see if that fixes it. You could also try to do a bios update for that mobo that may also fix it.
If neither of those work than really amd's c1e state does not save that much power and you will be fine leaving it disabled.
