Can an overclocked C2D E6320 to maybe 3GHz be cooled by Coolermaster Hyper TX? I intend to get CM Hyper TX because of it's weight. Many reviews show that it actually performs well.

I'm not talking about overclocking ability because i know e6320 can easily reach 3GHz. I want to know will CM Hyper TX be enough to cool it down?

Acrtic Cooling products are harder to get in my area.

Does Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 perform better than CM Hyper TX?

Thanks.

They're virtually the same, but I have seen a couple review where the Freezer 7 scored +/- 1ºc better. It's just that the Freezer 7 is usually cheaper then the Hyper TX.

At full load you should see mid-40's temps, and low 30's idle. The Tuniq Tower 120 could probably shave a full 10ºc off both those.

what kind of case do you have? if you ave a case with a big ass fan in the back sucking air out, get the artic off newegg or somehting. do you have a link to his " CM Hyper TX " on a site or anything?

Not in the US so newegg is not an option. Besides i'm finding a light and good cooler. The Hyper TX is only 482g while Freezer 7 is 520g. For 525g i could get Thermalright HR-01. Which performs better then?

just get a termalright ultra 120 extreme , to put it simple: its the best

do you thonk 40g will count?

Please don't suggest Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme. It's heavy.

So thermalright HR-01 is useless for an overclocked C2D? So my best choice is Hyper TX/Freezer 7?

The latter, without a doubt.

You might want to look into the Zalman 9500 and 9700 as well. Normally I would never recommend them, since there are much better options for the same price (though they're in the 750g range). The 95/700 are both much better then the Freezer 7/TX.

Not jogging, but the case frequents movement.

I mean best choice for TR HR-01 or Hyper TX/Freezer 7?

look man, your case is like several kilos or pounds , depends were you are from, so do you think that 100g or 200g will be such a big difference? you will not be able to make the diference, but it will be a big diference in temps, trust me, and "apt403".
we do no, what is the best

It's not about the whole weight. Currently i have a heavy tower heatsink and when i move it around i notice that the heatsink moves and vibrates which worries me about the board and the processor in a long run.

you should have said that from the begining

As long as you lay the case in it's side when you're moving it, so that the hsf is horizontal, you'll be fine. I'm fully confident that I could swing my mobo around in circles by the hsf and cause no damage.

Since weight is an issue I would go for the Freezer7 or Hyper TX. They are both lightweight and have good performance for the money.

WTF? Why did you get that? I thought you wanted a light hsf! The Noctua NH-U12F is virtually the same weight as the Tuniq Tower.

Anyway, what kind of temps are you getting? So-so doesnt tell us much.

The NH-U12F is a pretty good cooler, it's better then the Freezer 7 or TX.
