C82 EPSON prints greenish horiz. bands..

I have an EPSON C82 and am getting faint lime greenish horizontal bands every quarter inch or so across any photos that I print onto my EPSON photo paper. I have checked and realigned the nozzle heads so they print exact straight lines and the printer is almost new. The only variable here is that the black ink cartridge has less than 5% ink remaining. Would that cause these greenish bands altho the print software says I can print 17 more pages like the photo with bands I just printed. Please help. Thanks.

it could easily do that with low ink, but as far as epson printers go almost all epson printers i've checked out where doing those "me don't like it" lines even with full ink, can't stand epson.
