Question Cabel plugged in but no signal

Hello, i recendly baught a pc with gt 210 and core i5 but when i upgraded it to gtx 1050 it does not show any signal.
The power supply is 550 watt and i have tried removing cmos battery and put it back in. Plz help

does the GPU have any places for a 6 or 8 pin power cable to be plugged in? its unlikely for a 1050 but worth a check, if so have you got the cables from the power supply plugged in?
