Cabinet.dll error how to fix

when i open up my pc i immediately get the error message "One drive.exe: cabinet.dll contains an error or is corrupted use original installation media to reinstall program" and when i tried to install ms redist. so i can play the witcher and when i try to update 3dmark it comes up with similar messages how can i resolve these issues?

Do you use One drive for your PC? Here are some troubleshooting steps that may help.
- First is to disable OneDrive from your startup items.
- Open Task Manager then go to Startup tab and disable OneDrive.
- Reboot the PC once done and see if the same problem will persist or not.
- If it will still not work and you don't use OneDrive, just completely uninstall if from your PC.

i dont actually use one drive its just pre installed on 10. besides its popping up those other times too

i ran both of them and they both said that nothing was wrong

Cabinet.dll is a DLL file of Windows. Try the following to fix the issue.
1. Resinstall Windows
2. If the problem still exist then download and replace cabinet.dll.
3. Now open command prompt and type the following to register cabinet.dll.
Type regsvr32 cabinet.dll, press Enter
4. Reboot the system

well i ended up going to answer desk for help and that idiot did something were i can no longer boot from it nor rest it so im recovering from my backup now
Edit:it will recover to point were the error is still there

ive tried resetting it but it sticks at 15% for 10+ hours and doesnt do anything
