[SOLVED] Cable Connection Opinion

Hello guys.
hear me out, I know this can get a little bit confusing but I'm trying the best solution in here.
so I have a 1660 super that has 3 ports: DP, HDMI, and DVI. My Dvi and HDMI are not working for unknown reasons and what I want to do is, I'm trying to connect 2 monitors on the DP port on my GPU.
my question is, will this work? please have a look on the picture and give me your opinion, will everything work and not lose any features? like 144hz and resolution capabilities?

If one of the monitors supports DP multi-stream and is DP 1.2 compatible or higher, then yes, you can hook up two monitors with a single DP cable.

Not sure if multi-stream supports higher refresh rates on both monitors though.

now the thing is i have and old monitor which is 60 hz and the new monitor which is 144hz.
i would love to get a dp multi steam but they are expensive for some reason.

If you can't get the HDMI/DVI ports to work, there are also DP Multistream adapters like https://www.amazon.com/s?k=displayp...+multistream,electronics,134&ref=nb_sb_noss_1

They're not cheap though.
