Cable for my 144hz Monitor?

Hello, I was just wondering what cable I needed to get my 144hz to work for my ASUS VG248QE Black 24" Gaming Monitor. I was looking up DP to DP but the one I was looking at said it didn't support 144hz? So now I'm confused.

The DVI cable that came with the monitor is sufficient for 144 HZ, its dual link and works just fine for me.

It's a DVI-DL cable you need, not a Display Port...

When you bought that monitor it should have brought at least one of those...
