Cable help with HDD

Hey Guys!

So i was building mycompue realizing i had no HDD cable, and when i go search fro cables i find:
eSata
Sata and much more!
What do i need to but if i want a cable from my mootheboard to my HDD?
And can sommeone tell me about the price?
Some place they cost around 2 dollas, and some other places 15 dollars!

It depends what type of hard drive you have.

if the drive will be mounted internal to you pc then a sata cable is what you want.

Well i got a 1TB 3.5" HDD thats what i know. Since i dont live in USA i am not interested in buying link I just wanna know what i should search for

that depends on your motherboard and your case, you can always just get a straight one and not worry about it.
The price depends entirely on where you buy it. Go to your electronics store and ask for a SATA cable.
They are supposed to come with your motherboard when you buy a new one though.

Its because themotheroad was from my old computer, and my old computr had a special model

Just have to know, Sata cable is the cable connecting the HDD with the motherboard? sy, im just a bit confused

SATA is the cable connecting your motherboard to the hard drive, it's also the one coming from your power supply. They both have a type of L shaped connector. But they differ in orientation and length, so you can't accidentally mix them up.
