cable lengte problem

Hi

Not sure if this is a appropriate question and if someone out there will know this but I have an asus maximus hero alpha motherboard with an phantom 820 case.

I bought a corsair 860i power supply but it really looks like the cables is going to be too short.

I am unable to fit and test it at this point and will only fined out if its going to work or not next week.
I am going to build all up next week but don't want to put all together and then it is to short and then i must stop everything because i need to buy more stuff.

What is the chances that it will not reach my motherboard and that i will have to buy cable extenders.

Chances are very low.
I would not worry about it.

It should reach at the least running it over the board and not behind in the cable management area to let you ensure it works.
If it dont reach from behind the board then just use it like that and order a extension cable.

Probably the 8 pin aux cpu lead will not reach.
Your psu is on the bottom, and the 8 pin connector will be on the top of the motherboard.
To be able to route the 8 pin lead behind the motherboard, I suggest you add a 8 pin cpu power extender to your order.
