Cable management behind motherboard

Will anything bad happen to my PC if my wires are i little smashed behind my mother board? I have to put a little pressure on the side panel to close it

In a word, NO! I would check that there are no sharp metal protrusions on the back of your board and/or put a very thin insulated pad sheet in there; the sort of thing often used for laptop packing, if you have any lingering concerns.

I would also make sure that the wires and cables are as kink and loop free and 'flat' as possible.
