CableMod compaability isssue

Hey, i was wondering if i just went and bought individual cables from cable mod would the cables still work even though my PSU (corsair cx650m) isn't supported on the compatibility list? thanks.

Ask them if they can fit something as most PSUs have own set of contacts not mutually interchangeable even if they look same.
