I have the Asrock TRX40 Taichi mobo along with the Corsair AX1000 PSU. I want to replace the PSU cables with ones from CableMod, but I am confused about what cables to get. Specifically, the EPS cable.
The PSU comes with two "4+4 pin EPS12V" cables. Now, I don't know much about PSUs, but if you look at the pix below:
I assume the "4+4 pin EPS12V" cables are meant for those 2 things circled in red. CableMod gives me the following options for the EPS cable:
Can I get two 8 pins and be fine? Or should I get two 4+4?
Also, CableMod has SATA & molex cable replacements in "Quad". Does "Quad" mean it's one single cable in a "daisy chain"?
