Anyone else getting transfer errors from vileplanet while trying to
download the Tribes release? I've tried three times and each time it
tells me that the file size downloaded does not match the file on their
server... delete and try again.

Something's rotten in cyberspace!

It works for me. Of course, I'm using a paid account. :)

I'd give it to you, but it's not mine to give away. :)

Let me know if that doesn't work.

Say...what's your username and password? ;P Just kidding.

Once I get through the queue, the download isn't that tough on my trusty
3 megabit connection. Only 6 minutes. Just kinda frustrating to try
it on 3 different servers and still get the mismatch error.

All my experience as a hardware technician leads me to the Windows
cure-all... I'm going to do a cold boot and try again!

I'd heard on TWL that they'd run out of keys, and had grossly
underestimated the number they'd need. They also did it because they
thought the master servers would melt down under a bigger load, and had no
one who understood it enough to revive it should that happen.

That would explain things, then. Oh well... Not like I don't have my
zoinked-it-before-the-stock-boy-had-stocked-it-on-the-shelves copy.

Of course, *now* I realize you're talking about Tribes2 and not Tribes.
You can ignore my email then. :)

I also have my just-as-it-was-released 1st version copy of Tribes as
well. :)
