Hi,

I've got this system

Intel Core 2 duo E7500, 2.93 Ghz
3 GB ram ddr2
Nvidia 450 gts Evga (Needs a 400W PSU, consumes 102 W, 22 amp)
1 HDD, Hitachi (7W on peak)
1 optical drive LG.

(My generic power supply has just broken so I need a new one)

But I want to get one good enough for overclocking the processor (up to 3.5 Ghz?), the graphic card, maybe ram too?

I was between a Cooler Master Elite Power 460w (324W, dual rail +12 18 amp each ) and Cooler Master 500w (360 dual rail +12 18 amp each)

Now, I know the latter is better, but Is it worth the money? I mean, will I be using the extra power?

Update:
I forgot the motherboard :p

You should have a good motherboard to overclock your CPU. Overclocking your RAM won't earn you any real world performance (Maybe 1/2 FPS in BF4).

Cooler Master doesn't make good PSUs in that price range, look at the Corsair CX500 (Recommended) or CX600.

Foxconn is one of the worst motherboard manufacturer according to me and I'm sure a lot of people will agree.

However checking the motherboard's specs I conclude that isn't suitable at all for CPU or RAM overclocking. You may be able to overclock your GPU though.
