I recently bought a Mustek Scanexpress a3 1200 USB Pro scanner, and am using it with Windows Fax and scans. Is there a way to calibrate it so that I can get color accurate scans?
Well, good to know...except I just bought the scanner off ebay, and that scanner doesn't come with a calibration sheet. Also, navigating the driver of the scanner is confusing, as in I couldn't find the calibration window on windows 10.
Without the calibration target you cannot calibrate the scanner. You might be able to obtain one from the manufacturer, otherwise you have what you have.
If you are referring to the calibration target then this is not something you download. You must obtain the target that was specifically printed for this model scanner directly from the manufacturer. This is not something you can print yourself.
Do you have the calibration software? If not then contact Mustek as it doesn't look like they made it downloadable for your model. Once you have it installation is no different than any other software. Operation is covered in the manual.
I bought a calibration target for my scanner, but I don't know how to proceed. I can't find the calibration software needed for my scanner, and I can't reach the manufacturers of the scanner to request a link to the download for the software. Is there any way to calibrate it?
