Caliginous With P23700 SAMSUNG

Hi MY friends
i bought a SyncMasterP23700 SAMSUNG 23" LCD Monitor.
When i set its Display Properties Setting On 1600*900 pixel, the screen will be Caliginous and i cant set the setting on this mode (1600 * 900). and its frequency is on 69 hertz and i cant change this.
what should i do to solve this problem ?

The native res of that monitor is 1920 x 1080. Why aren't you using that instead? Anything below will look a bit blurry.
