Call Of Duty: World At War crashing during multiplayer zombies

Hi all,

I've just got back into playing CoD:WaW zombies mode. After playing the first zombies map (Nacht Der Untoten) online with 1 or more other players, as soon as we've all been killed and the GAME OVER screen comes up, my entire game crashes and it comes up with the "Call Of Duty has stopped working, Windows is looking for a solution to this problem". Then I have to bring up task manager and end process before I can relaunch the game again. Therefore I can't earn any achievements and can't rank up while in the game so I am constantly stuck at Rank 1.

The single player campaign works perfectly and single player zombies also works fine. Multiplayer in a normal deathmatch situation runs fine - yet zombies just doesn't seem to work with multiplayer without crashing at the end of the game.

Any thoughts on what to do about this minor, yet irritating problem. I haven't made any modifications to the game at all. My PC specs are as follows -

i5 760 2.8ghz
160GB HDD (OS) 2TB HDD (Steam)
6GB RAM
EVGA GeForce GTX670 2GB graphics card
Windows 7 64-bit

Many thanks.

i had issues recently on COD black ops 2 , and it lead to crashes while playing multiplayer or even when exiting the game , i found out that the setting on "option>>setting>>advanced" check your anti aliasing , either keep it Non , or MSAA x2 or x4 doesnt matter , the lower the better performance , dont pick TXAA or anything else , beside disable FXAA ,let me know if this help , thanks

Yes this has happened,..you just shouldnt play zombies for a while until windows has it covered, as they are working on this now, maybe try to stop playing the zombies for a while

Hmmmm, I don't have another computer I can use, but the guy I usually play this game with seems to host it without any trouble so I'll maybe ask him for some advice or just let him host for a while, lol. Thanks for your help junkeymonkey

it don't take much for a game server most games we run have Linux servers on the disk its cheap and easy just a cheapo build with Linux load the server on it and start hosting --- this is where steam has ruined gaming folks just don't know how much there being ripped off supporting steam pay money for a game that you don't own and got to see them to load or play it ?? how stupid
