Camera doesn't work after root.

Hey y'all.
I have been going with this problem since 3 months now and could not find a solution to it.
What the problem is, I have rooted my android device, it is a Micromax Canvas 2 (I know I am backward at that front), and I have installed the kitkat rom for this device (http://forum.xda-developers.com/micromax-a110/development/rom-mmx-a110-t2972561), its the smoothest and the most productive custom ROM I have installed till date, the only problem with it is the rear camera of the device doesn't work. It isn't damaged, I have checked by installing other ROMs. There's no problem if there isn't any rear camera but I want give it a last try.
and PS:- The kernel is Linux 3.4.x

You have done more than "root". You have installed a custom ROM with custom Kernel. It is no longer stock android+kernel+firmware that comes with the device. Go ask/file bug report with he developer of this ROM in that 100+ page thread you have linked.

So how do I see it, the camera driver is not compatible with the custom kernel? And yeah, I will follow your suggestion, Go to XDA and ask the developer for the bug report. Let's see how that turns out. Peace, mate.
