Camera suggestions please!

I am considering getting a new camera. I currently have a Canon 6D. I'm looking to upgrade to a camera that is easier to travel with & more manageable (I have a muscle disease). I went to the local camera store yesterday & they showed me a Sony A7R2 and an Olympus OMD EM-1. They kept pushing the Olympus, which is micro-four thirds. What are your thoughts? Anyone with experience using the Sony?

The Sony is a full-frame. A great camera, but with a large sensor you need larger heavier lenses.

If you want a inter-changable lens camera, the Olympus and Panasonic are the way to go. The entire kit will weigh much less and so should help with your muscle disease.

The OM-D E-M1 mk2 is an amazing camera. The panasonic competitor is the g9. Dpreview has some info on both. I suggest you read those reviews. If you want more feedback from me, just ask.

You will use the camera that feels best in your hands.
I did concert photography (weekend long multi band gigs) with a D2x and an all metal 70-200 f/2.8. Sucker weighed 10 lbs. Carry that around all day, it was killing me.

So I bought an Oly OM-D EM-5 with a battery grip. Weighed nothing, it was a joy to use.....

....for about an hour. It was too small for me and I ended up having a lot of wrist and finger joint pains because it was too small for me.
Test each camera in your hands, see what feels best and causes the least discomfort. That is the camera for you.
