Camera video.exe has stopped working

Hi,

I recently did a partial restore on my HP laptop "Windows 10" without removing my personal files. I've noticed that my YouCam doesn't work. Each time I start my laptop a few minutes later a window pop up with the message "you cam6 webcam camera video.exe has stopped working". The other day I was video chatting with a friend on Skype and it was working for may be two minutes then the light went off on my camera and my friend couldn't see me anymore.

Reinstall the webcam drivers and reconfigure for your computer and network.

Download the drivers from the manufacturer's website.

Hi! Thanks for your message. I'd like to do that but unfortunately I don't see Imaging Devices in Device Manager...

Make and model webcam?

Two separate but "related" matters: 1) the video application software, and 2) the web cam drivers.

Maybe via one of the following links perhaps:

Check the "Technical" tab.

The error message makes me believe that 1) above, i.e., YouCam, is the problem.
