Can’t enable wireless network adapter

How do I enable my network adapter to connect to the internet on Kali Linux? I am running Kali Linux through VirtualBox and I have set my adapter to bridged in the network settings. Also, when I try to run the command “service network-manager restart” in the NetworkManager directory, it says the command is unrecognisable. Please help!

lshw -C network

post back the result

This is to check to see the wireless card is detected
