Hi to all.
I´m trying to OC my FX 8320 to 8350 speed.
The problem I´m having is that AFTER using AMD OVERDRIVE to disable turbo and set the clock to 4 Ghz anything o 3D can´t pass a bench.
I use AIDA and all the CPU and memory Scores shows the improvement of OC. The temps are SUPER FINE.
But when I try to run HEAVEN benchmark, the test sems accelerated. Like 2x times or more. And the results are awfull.
The same happends with MIDDLE EARTH MORDOR game. The ingame benchmark shows 0 FPS result even the test runs fine.
I can even play the game with no problems.
But the FPS counters on both test seems broken after the OC in overdrive.
What´s happening?
how can I run the test to see if the improvement is good in games or should I stay @stock.
thanks !
My system
AMD FX 8320 Stock cooler but motherboard mod so temps are 10° lower than normal.
ASUS M5A99X Rev 2.0
2 x 4 GB G skill sniper 1866 mhz
MSI GTX 970
CM Silent Pro 700M
Bottom line, the benchs seem to go like 2X time when OC with OVERDRIVE. Why is this happening?
