Can´t format Harddrive

Hi!

Im having problems with formatting my new hardriva. It´s a Seagate Barracuda 2TB. When formatting it gets stuck at 54%.

I´ve read in here somewhere that it could be old drivers to my Nvidia Chipset. But according to Nvidias homepage I have the latest driver...

Please give us all the details about your desktop computer system, MB, HDD and connection type, Video card, RAM, which Windows OS you are using,which SP, and the make and model# of the new drive, internal or removable, you are trying to initialize. Go to Disk Management and in the lower graphical area, report what it says regarding this new HDD.

Also what steps have you taken that have not worked.

That way someone will be able to get you going.
