[SOLVED] Can’t activate win10 after a hardware change

I have a retail Windows 10 pro and I changed my Mobo and Cpu and it deactivated my windows. When I got to the troubleshoot and click the I changed hardware on this device recently, I see my old mobo and when I click it it says error can’t activate try again later. What can I do?

As it says, "Try again later".
Sometimes it takes a couple of days to catch up.

I've had exactly this same thing happen.

try to type the windows key, press windows + i, Update and security, activation on the left panel and then change product key and type our windows key, if it doesn't work then communicate with Microsoft

Since you have a retail license, try this:
Right click This PC, select Properties
At the bottom, "Change product key"
Enter your license.

See what happens.

Only problem is that I got this windows way back when it was still a windows 7, so I have no idea where the product key is.

Oh. That's a whole different thing.
"I have a retail Windows 10 pro"...is not what you have.
You have a digital license, obtained with the Upgrade from Win 7 to Win 10.

2 options:
1. Wait. It may eventually catch up.
2. Call MS and talk to a human.

You have a digital license, obtained with the Upgrade from Win 7 to Win 10.
